The minister of foreign affairs helps to form foreign policy as well as performing diplomatic duties. The embodiment of everything Italian, sangiovese would exert significant influence as a diplomat.
A variety from Tuscany, it is a seriously exciting wine – fleshy, great body, luscious texture and mouth-watering acidity that makes it tremendous with food. This sangiovese is charming and has lots of spicy red berries – juicy cherry, a little peppered strawberry, some herbs and violets. Enjoy with tomato bruschetta, pizza, or smoked meats.

Backbenchers do not have a seat in the ministry and individually have little power to influence policy. Merlot has always taken a backseat compared to more fashionable wines.
Although often misunderstood, when carefully crafted in the vineyard and winery, merlot can be a rich, full flavoured, yet smoot and soft wine.
This wine displays a rich spectrum of plum and spiced berry fruits. Wonderful with roast beef, smoked meats and for afternoon tea with fruit cake.

Seamless and distinct, this shiraz is rich, long flavoured, with soft tannins, fragrant spice, pepper and dark berry fruit. This wine displays eminence and class. It is fantastic with chargrilled lamb or a thick sirloin.

Made from the cool climate fruit the Jeir Station Vineyard, this wine blends together Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. This wine shows perfumed flavours of berries and blackcurrent from the Cabernet Sauvignon and cherries and raspberry from the Merlot.

Like the Senator, this wine is elegant and stylish with a touch of complexity. It is a textured wine that has layers of stone fruit flavours, apricot from the viognier and peach from the chardonnay.
It displays the creaminess and buttery flavours from the chardonnay and the silky lush texture of viognier with subtle apricot flavours.
Made from the cool climate fruit from the Jeir Station Vineyard, this is a delicate wine with a lingering finish.
